LOL- hasn't been polished yet, bro. From what Matt tells me, all they need to do is add the hardware and then polish it up and send it along to QC. The whole point of the photo was to nail down where the battery was going- they're gonna put threaded inserts around the control cavity so that when I take off the cover to change the battery, over time, I won't be stripping the wood along the cavity.

I thought of that as well but the gurus in the CS suggested otherwise which leads me to believe that it isn't an option for some reason.
