i've heard a lot of bad things about Jackson ever since the Fender buy-out. i sold my old SL4 a while back, and am thinking about saving up for a newer SL2 or possibly getting a DK2M to hold me over. are the newer jap/usa guitars still of upstanding quality? is it just the cheaper imports that everyone is bitching about, ie those made in India?

i don't play the imports, but i can say that i have had NO issues with any of the USA jackson guitars i have purchased since the fender buyout.
i may be wrong, but i think the indian jacksons were made by akai, prior to the fender buyout....GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

My 007 Soloist was started pre-Fender in the Ontario factory and completed post-Fender in the Corona factory. Is my Soloist good or bad?
I have several pre and post Fender Jacksons. There is absolutely no difference whatsoever in them.Rudy
