jt580lp tremolo question

i had a kelly std a while ago and it said Takeuchi on the trem block. whassat?

japan made tremolo. descent, but step down from original floyd rose in terms of the metal used. vintage japanese kramers had them too.

Its a fine trem IMO

It's considered a step above the usual JT580LP and the one I had appeared to have a brass block and not the standard pot metal block.

+1 I have one in a USA BC Rich ST3 and put one in my KE3/DK1 mutt. Good trem, decent sized brass block.

I've had no issues with the numerous JT580LPs I've owned over the years. Sadly, I can't say the same about Schallers.
