How do you use search. Since the board moved I have yet to figure out search. It does not give the forum names and does not go in any order that I can find and repeats its self. Maybe it is obvious but I don't get it. This may also help those who get razed for not using search when they ask a common question. Thanks in advance for those of us who have moments of stupidity.

pop into the category you want to search and hit the search button...the category will match the one you're in....d.m. -

Yes, go into a section (General, USA, Efraid, etc) and click Search. You will search only in that particular section.
The sections are assigned numbers by the UBB software (which are supposed to be replaced by NAMES, Admins [img]graemlins/poke.gif[/img] ) but you can get the number of each section by watching the Status bar of your browser; put the mouse over the General link and you see "f=1" in the URL in the Status Bar. USA Jacksons is "f=2". So, once you've successfully memorized the different sections' numbers, you can skip around the forum from one page [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
Another neat thing is memorizing member NUMBERS when you search, instead of simply putting in a members NAME (Admins [img]graemlins/poke.gif[/img] )
