    Awesome link, thanks.

That answers my question of how I find the middle of the range for the fine tuners

Since the name itself comes from spanish, it should be pronounced something like [ib'a:nes] and not ['aibani:z] or whatever. Thus the plural in english should be ibanezes.

Fender customer support emailed me the manual. All two pages of it. All good now.

But the guitars themselves come from Japan. What do you have to say now Mr. Smartypants!

Manual doesnt even tell you nothin anyway. Hell i think all the ones i had showed a jt500/590 so ur dk with the jt580lp wont match the pic of the trem anyway.

If you're having trouble, and if you can, you may want to bring it to a guitar tech and have them do a basic set up. Floyds arfe pretty hassle-free once they're set up right.

The DK2 is a nice guitar, you ought to love it once it's good to go. Congrats!

Should that have any influence on pronunciation?
Are Jackson guitars produced in Japan pronunced in a different way than [ˈdʒæksən]?
No, because the name on the headstock belongs to a man that is coming from english speaking country.

I think techincally in Spanish it would be "Ibaneces".
