Why are we rating each others dream axes? Who gives a f*ck what others think of yer shred machine? I mean, I get it- we all seek some level of acceptance and approval, but I'm surprised by this. If you have a killer ax or a design idea you'd like to have made, it's only natural to wanna share your idea and your enthusiasm for it. But opening it up to ratings? I just don't get it...

I know what you're getting at but I just want to see everybodies ideas and what different members opinions are on them, see which is the most popular and why, if anybody rated my Death Kelly 1/10 It wouldn't bother me to be honest, I'd still by it and spend endless days jizzing about it :L (even more time cleaning it aswell :L)

Vector is like "oh no please DON'T gimme ideas, I want my guitar to be as boring as possible". On a thread like this one you can find ideas and things you didn't know of before, and you could discover something that would be so cool you'd absolutely want it.

That's what makes this thread interesting

I dont think its about acceptance or approval. I think its about feedback on ones idea. Rating is the easiest way right?

yeah it's not about "approval," vector, it's about feedback and ideas. For example, one might gain insight on what wood they'd want to use by observing mine and toe's views on poplar. maybe they wanted to think of a cool finish and Nagash's trans purple blackburst or toe's goldtop with white body binding blew their mind. Yes, there's a level of show-off-ishness, and there's also a level of helpful creative spark. THAT's what makes this a good thread.

              oh, and

Death Angel - 7/10 (it's cool, but nothing that really jumps out too much for me personally, except the reverse hs and the lack of inlays would be dope.. have you thought about a diferent pickup config or do you really like the EMGs?)

I can't access the guitar generator, so you're all deprived of my genius.
                I like EL34s.

                            BAD. ASS.
9/10 but ONLY because don't know if you mean a vintage FR or some other type of vintage trem (like a bigsby), i'm not particularly fond of stars unless they blow me away w/ finish (double props to toe ), and i can't imagine just outline sharkies in my head.. but other than that that thing is geared to rip shit up!

vintage trem as in fender style (don't really know what they are called)...the sharkfins think normal shark inlay then take out the middle in the same shape only 2mm smaller so you see the maple inside the inlay
