I found a soloist in the pawn shop with the serial number 003658

Yep... that's an SL3.
My guess is it was made somewhere between 2003 and 2005.

Serial # 003658 indicates Made in Japan in 2000. Probably late 2000, as this model is not in the 2000 catalog but IS in the 2001.
