Take the sl3, by far a better guitar IMO. But mostly the price just seems better. 470$ for an SL3 is pretty cheap dude. You won't be dissapointed.

F the SL3 and get a real guitar. A red Model 6 sold for $550 shipped on ebay this week. Model 5's are going for $300-$400.
