Differences in KE3's

First off I have played J/C guitars for over 20 years, but I have never really learned anything about the history of how models have changed over the years.

I have a KE3 Professional. It says "professional" on the headstock just like my 93 Dinky Reverse. Is there much of a difference from the KE3's made in the 90's compared to the ones made today? Are the old ones better? Worse?

I know I absolutely love the necks on the old Professionals.

I have a 96 Kelly Professional KE3. I love it. It very quickly became my favorite guitar over my other Jacksons. The neck is the best part about it for sure. I dont know about the quality of the new offering of the KE3, but Id bet the necks not the same and I know they dont use the Ibanez style contoured neck joint anymore. I hope to one day find another model identical to my Kelly.

I never knew they made a Professional KE3.. Looks like it was just 96-97. Learn something new everyday.. I especially never heard of a 96 Possessional. But Twitch does possess one.

I've never played a 96-97 Professional but IMO, the Professional Std, XL, and especially the Pro's are much better than the early 2000's KE3's I've played.

the neck is quite chunky compared to my ibanez RG.

I have the crimson swirl KE3, black bridge (I've seen some chrome).
