  • Considering selling my Dinky XL to fund a Charvel

    Hey guys

I've got a Jackson Dinky XL Professional from ´94, but I hardly ever play it.
I've since recently gotten a sweet tooth for Charvel's new Japanese models.
Thing is that they are 22 frets and the Floyd isn't placed like on a Dinky. I've forgotten the word for it, but you get what I mean. That it's on the body, not in.

Is there such a big difference between the two guitars? I've never tried a Charvel!

    Thanks

The necks on the xls are very thin D and the charvels are a C , they're apples and oranges.
The trems you'll get used to pretty fast.

I'd say so. You should go try a Charvel.

On the other hand they are both guitars, bolt on necks, have trems, same scale length...
