What do they use to finish USA Jackson's??????

SD Jackson and Charvels were polyester according to Dan Lawrence.
This I know because he redid a SD soloist for a friend of mine in the last month or so.
My friend asked Dan to do it the way they did back in the day and thats what he did.Looks great btw hope to snag the soloist soon.

Jackson is the hardest finish on any guitar I've ever owned. My Ps4 fell from the ceiling and hit a concrete floor and you can't even see wood, cracked the finish but not one piece chipped off. That's Ford tough.

Those old Kramers will give them a run for their money! I refer to it as "Armageddon finish"
