  • Help please! Jackson Performer nut question.

First I wanna say hello, this is my first post, but I've been lurking here for quite some time...

So I got this Jackson Performer (PS-1). I know it's supposed to be crap but I love this guitar more than any other guitar I've owned, including mid-level Dinkys, ESPs, RGs.

Anyway, I attempted to file down the low E a bit for some really heavy guage strings and I guess it was so brittle it just broke... Now I'm thinking about just taking it to the shop... but since it's already screwed I wanna take a crack at it.

I'm sure getting it on mostly isn't the hard part, it's finding the right nut! Seems to be 42mm, it's the curve I'm worried about. Any tips?
