What is my friend missing out?

My friend has owned two Jackson Dinkys, DXMG and a DK2something. He sold them and got a Fender USA Stratocaster and had a Super Distortion put in. Now I've been going all "You should get a Japanese Charvel Pro Mod" on his ass lately. Keep in mind that the only way to actually getting to play one here in Sweden is to order it and pay for it. He's considering it but is hesitant to it since he thinks that they will be the same guitar basically.

So please, enlighten both me and my friend what the differences are between a USA Fender Stratocaster and a Charvel Pro Mod?

The Charvel has a wider compound-radius neck with jumbo frets... the Floyd Rose, um...

I dunno, it depends on which USA Strat it is but that's most of it.
