serial is 702720, which according to jacksons website makes it a 1989
Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

I see some Jacksons similiar to this for 400 and some up to 1k. I"m not a huge fan of this body style and hoping to sell or trade for something that's more my tastes. It's in great shape no damage and plays fine.

Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

The serial number chart you refer to is for US made Jacksons only. I'm not sure how you read the chart, but your serial doesn't fall within any of those number ranges anyway. RR professionals are all imports. Serial numbers on imports are all over the place. I guarantee you that yours is not from 1989. Mid to late 90's most likely. $400 would probably be at the high end of the market, definitely not anywhere near $1000.

Ah..well still more then I would've gotten for my head. Any clue how much the hard case is worth? 80-100 fair?

I am just guessing at the $400, don't quote me on that. I wouldn't pay that since, like you, don't care for the RR shape much. My RR3 is basically wall art. Haven't played it but once or twice since I bought it. The case should be included with the sale of the guitar, IMO.

It's from the early 1990s at the earliest. There was no prof series Jacksons in '89.

This is a RR4, made in Japan in the late 90s. Yours is a 1997.
            Worth around $300.

              I think it's an RR4 Ron:

Doesn't matter where you ask, it's still not an 89...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Right, that matches the serial too then. I'll edit.
