FYI, a 42mm block Floyd Rose *should* drop right in as a replacement trem. Unless you love experiencing stripped threads on your own, you probably don't want to throw another JT-6 at it.

Man don't diss a JT-6 they are great trems.
Remember an OFR has wider string spacing than a JT-6 so your 2 E strings will be closer to the edge of the fingerboard.
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

If you are going to buy a JT6, buy a second one as well for spare parts!

Hey, I love the design of the JT-6 but the thing needed to be built from steel, not copper and tin.

it did have white undercoat and white finish. It is chipped in a few places and that stuff is tough and thick. reminds me of the 70's fender plastic coated necks.

I'm partial to the early floyds and happen to use them very sparingly. (especially with a kahler locking nut.) The floyd just made sense because it COMPLETELY isolated the string from binding when the strings get loose. l like the feel of those models on the back of my hand too because I mute a lot. .....my .02

I'm thinking solid orange paint like the brighter tones in this pic

Thoughts? I would love t have a tye dye somehow but that would take some serious airbrush practice.
