Re: OH MY GODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!

My '88 Limited Edition cost around $1600 street when it was new. What cost $1600 in 1988 would cost $2432.22 in 2002.

Re: OH MY GODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm wondering if that dragon RR is the 24 fret'r McD came asking for specs on? Hard to count `em for sure with that cool-@ss continuous flame inlay, but I think it had 24. Then again, why would he ask for suggestions when there are three other guitars there with the same exact specs?

And what's in that big damn catalog, guys? I think I caught a glimpse of `em in the pics.

By the way..looking at those Dragons made me think of RacerX's photos of GMW he took in January. He has a pic of Dan working on a finish..it sure looks like one of these NAMM guitars.

Re: OH MY GODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's the same one Jim. All of the NAMM guitars are single hum & TOM string-throughs. The GMW pic is dual hum and Floyd'd.

c'mon people, we are talking mike shannon here. is'nt this what we wanted? if you don't like a strathead, you are a communist and stop posting.
slo100 is one sharp cat, combine his suggestions with shannon and you will have a screamin' axe. it is really that simple, stop nitpicking and start picking, play fukkin' guitar like a studhorse and feel the electricity baby!!!!

back from namm...new stuff is killer...added bonus of meeting Mcd and mike shannon...2 great guys with big plans for the future...is the company going in the right direction?...it will if these two have anything to say about it...d.m.
btw, they both loved the necks on my old strat heads...and mike remebered the necks perfectly...

From the visit to GMW pics, check out the neck in the lower right corner. Looks like a small logo to me. Wonder if it's in for repair or ??

Try and spec out a guitar like this from Suhr or Tom Anderson. Jackson/Charvel is totally within their boundaries charging $2,400 for this guitar.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">exactly!!!!!!!!!!

We wanted it and they delivered...this is NOT a Fender strat with a Charvel logo. If I didn't just spend about 10k in my new hobby, ATV's I'd be all over this like Brett on a Rick's or Colorado Club Titty Dancer

BTW let me add that the feedback I'm getting is that because these will be very limited that most dealers will stick close to the $4000 MSRP. So kudos to Matt for his price, I honestly think he's is a very stand-up guy when it comes to pricing his guitars and really is an asset to this forum...

Also ... from what I've seen .. if any of you guys are interested in the NAMM guitars they are exclusive to Guitar express and after seeing the website I'm pleasantly surprised to say they are cheaper than some of the select guitars ...

... that Dragon KV actually comes closer to my dream guitar than the KV-2T (no SLS headstock and double sharkfins and zebra pickups for me, and I want bevels!)... if only it had a second humbucker, than it would be perfect.
