That model doesn't appeal to me, but I don't want a big Gibson jazz box either, yet I can understand the price of one. It's gonna sell enough to justify a limited edition, and the fact it WON'T
sell huge numbers will encopurage Fender
to lower the price on future Strathead issues. The guys who buy these will be like the mathheads that paid $250 for the
first Texas Instruments calculators.
My pseudo-Strathead USA Charvel proto is
Stratty enough for me, and has 2 HBs and a Floyd which I really need over a vintage style trem. When that's all that
existed, I used them, but Floyds and Kahlers are both far superior for my purposes.
