Please help me identify this guitar for a friend

My friend does not know what it is and i would really like to buy it from him he says he does not see any kind of serial number on it
Thank you in advance for your help Rich PS the headstock says Charvel then below it says made by jackson/charvel and the black tuners say Jackson in gold on the back of them.

Looks like a Model 6. The serial should be stamped on the 24th fret.

Yeah, looks like a model 6 that has had a trem swap and I guess no electronics?

Good guitars. That one is probably an 87-88 model I'd imagine, a serial would help determine that. 86 would be routed for the kahler I believe.

My Model 6 had the serial on a sticker on the back of the head...

I know certain models did have stickers on the back of the neck, but wasn't sure about the Model 6. Was yours an older model with a Kahler? Mine was an '87 with the JT6 and the serial on the board.

Yeah, it has a Kahler. I seem to remember it starting with a C, as per this one, but I have very little knowledge of Japanese serial numbers.

Ah, okay. I thought the older ones with Kahlers had the sticker on the neck, but not sure if they were all like that. Yours was probably an '86, as the '87s got the JT6.
