Old Charvel? Or Fake?

I think that may be one of the logos Wayne Charvel used for a while in the mid - '80s, long after having sold Charvel to Grover Jackson. His guitars are always made with sourced parts, like Warmoth.

Wayne sometimes used this logo on refinished or repaired Charvels that he worked on AFTER he was on his own. He also used this logo briefly on guitars he built as dg stated above.

I should have saw this thread earlier...I asked the same thing about a bass unit on EBAY except this one is no charvel body I ever saw with the knobs angled the wrong way so the Warmoth thing holds true:
