  • Which guitar do I buy: Charvel 650xl, Jackson Soloist Std or a Jackson SLSMG?

    Hey guys,
I was wondering whether you could help me make a choice between these guitars.

If I could buy them all for the same price, which guitar would you advice?
I am looking for someone or some people who have had some experience with these guitars Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately I do not get the chance to try each guitar.

No brainer for me. The 650XL.

SLSMG = ugly headstock and no inlays. Ok, I can barely see the phiranas.

Student Soloist = no binding or sharky inlays. In fact, that looks to be a Professional? Not even a USA, but even if it was a USA, I'd still take the 650.

Is that a stock trem on the 650XL? The routing looks to be a different size than the hardware.

Thank you all for the comments

Anymore information on the sound, playability, action, features or anything else on all three guitars would be very much appreciated.

                  650XL 100%
                  STD 0%
                  SLSMG 0%

I think this is one of those Japan Only 650XL's with a matching headstock. The trem looks to be a partial route, not a full recess like a normal 650XL. Pretty cool IMO because the bridge is high yet you can still pull back.

Entirely possible. I'm not very up on the "50" Model series like I am with the first gen Models.

650XL. They probably all play well, but the 650xl is sexy.

How are you guys commenting on the trem? I don't see any photos

He edited the post, I don't think it was the guitar he was looking at specifically. It was a 650XL in (I think) silver sparkle with a matching headstock.

No it was white, and had the partial recessed trem.

                              Why remove the pics?
