Is a mint American Standard with the OHSC and all the case candy worth a used San Dimas in the same condition? I know that new the American standard costs more but since there are more used strats for sale than there are used SD I'm wondering if the Charvels are actually worth more. I've been thinking about getting a San Dimas but definetly don't want to shell out the $$$ for a new one. I don't play the strat nearly as much as my Jacksons so I'm thinking about looking for a local trade but I want to be realistic about what my strat is worth. What do you guys think?

Interesting. What are used USA San Dimas' going for these days? I see American Standards on Craigslist sometimes as low as $500 and stupidly posted as high as $900 and more. I would say the average posting would be $700-800.Comment
