  • Help needed with Fusion Professional.

A simple question with hopefully a simple answer.

Changing the battery in my Fusion Pro the other day and I foolishly managed to
pull the positive wire off where ever it's supposed to go. So can some kind soul
tell me where I need t re-solder the redwire from the battery connector to.

    Many Thanks

    Nidge

If it will help, I can take a picture of the wiring in the control cavity of my fusion. I have to take off for a bit, but I'll try to post one up tonight.

I was able to take this shot that probably won't help.

There are 4 positions numbered 1 to 4 next to that round blue piece. The red wire is soldered to the spot labeled 4.

      Hope that helps.

Thanks very much indeed, Ward, it is a very big help and the picture. I will warm the iron up shortly.

        Very big thanks

No problem. Good luck with the repair.

Thats an old guitar dude. Those Fusion Pro's were a early 90's through mid to late 90's guitar. They shred though.

              Hey Ward,

How are you digging that JCM2000? What kind of music do you play?

                Hey Paul,

I love the TSL100. I play metal and hard rock, and I can get just about any sound I want out of it. I don't use it much, but the clean channel is really nice too, it's got some meat behind it. I've had the head & the 2 4x12s for about 10 years now, and the only problem I ever had was a hum in the effects loop that cost me $50 to have fixed. I'm not in a band that gigs these days, but it still gets quite a bit of use and it's been completely reliable.

It's the only amp I've played for 10 years, so I can't compare it to anything else, but I've never had an itch to get something else in all those years.

I've had to make this repair as well. Those wires break real easy I guess.

And I know you didn't ask, but I F'ing love my DSL100 1/2 stack. It's the early "Orange Crush" version and I love the way it sounds.

Damn, that says a lot. I'm running a Marshall JMP-1 into a Mesa 20/20 and I like the sound, but there's always new toy syndrome since the fans on the Mesa can be quite annoying when practicing at low levels. Perhaps the problem is practicing at low levels.
