Help needed! Info on my Dinky by the SN#

Hi guys.

This will be my first post on this excellent forum.

I recently aquired a Jackson Dinky. I got it as a part of a trade deal from a guy that barley could communicate on my language(swedish). So I don't know much about it.

That is where I need your help. I would really like to know what model it is, where and when it was made, if possible, and what hardware it contains.

It's a pink/purple one with dot inlays and standard headstock. The serial nr is 508795.

At least the guy said it was a Dinky, I have never owned one before so i can't tell.

Can't find any info on the web so I need your help

If it has a bolt-on neck, it's a Dinky. A neck-thru would be a Soloist. Post a pic.

Well it could be a 1995, made in the Japan factory...here's the first Dinky page out of the '95 catalog:

So if it doesn't look like the EX, it could be a Fusion (short scale) or a Stealth.

It's a Grover Jackson Dinky model... made for the Japanese market only. The Grover line eventually turned into the Jackson Stars line.

Ahh... that's Grover Jackson (Japan market only)... looks like it's been refinished too.
