And Trem, I'm not the only one! Seriously, that's a messed up axe all the way...

Are you sure this is a guitarist in the same league as the super stars you mentioned above? I can't imagine anyone thinking that is pro.
Yes. If I can find a pic I will post it. I know for a fact that the guy my cousin claims gave it to him does a lot of millwork at home and does make odd changes to his guitar.

Pretty accurate, but I think it is better described as being eccentric!

I don't really understand that big-ass route for a mini-switch inside that cavity though.

...Am I the only one who thinks that trem arm looks like a bent ratchet?
The metal work is well done. It is actually pretty cool when you get up close and see all the little touches and details that he included. The huge drill bit used to install the mini-switch surprised me as well, and then I got a good chuckle out of it. I'm glad he incorporated a larger cover for the cavity to cover that stuff up!

Yeah, definitely don't want a window installed in that cavity cover!

I can't imagine anyone thinking that cutting off part of your pickguard, wrapping your guitar in tape, screwing a quarter to the face of the guitar to block the trem, and putting a kramer neck on a strat would be pro, but the shit was pro. Lol. So don't say pro guitarists don't do some random ass shit to their gear. And on subject of it not being a high end guitar to begin with, I recall evh saying that his strat body was one that he got for cheap cos the wood had a knot in it. Also who would do such crazy shit to a $2k guitar? Lol

I think its pretty sweet man and I wouldn't change a thing except the emg hz's in it.

that thing is out there. I am not going to diss it, its just not my cup of tea. its a bit strange, but the metal work does look well done from what I can see in the pics, although it doesnt do much for the looks of the guitar as a whole. its just strange. I wouldnt want to go on stage with it, but thats just me. If you like it, then rock on with it!

It reminds me sort of of "steam punk", but in this case Id guess wed call it "metal shop class punk"? Or "skilled boredom punk"? I really dig the bridge and the trem cavity window.
