BTW, I chatted with a guitar dealer the other day about those new Charvels, and he got a sample of one, and he said that they're up there with the competition (ESP/LTD, Ibanez, Schecter) if not even better! So, let's not be a pessimistic bunch, and look for the bright side of things...

They better be. Those chinese ltds and schecters suck. cut your fingers off with the fret edges on the non bond necks. Those indonesian Ibanezes are really nice, so I hope the charvels are better than them
