Welcome to the JCF. Speaking of GAS and being an old metal head, then check this out:

There's been a thread discussion going on about doing a limited 10-piece custom shop run of Phil's PC archtop from the 80s/90s; here:

          http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/123...en-limited-run...

If you're interested look into it. You'll be surprised at the cost. It's a little more than the cost of a new production model PC-1.
In order to make the run happen we need 6 firm deposits. So far we have three JCFers intrested. We need another three to make the run a reality.

Looks cool, except I just got a sandoval polkadot V copy, and a Charvel model 6 this month.
It will be a while before I piss off my wife again.

So those are POST 1995 - I was referring to the fact that the "Letter-Letter-number" model designation did not start til around 1995, not the "Pre Fender" BS

A friend of mine just sold a G&L, a LH from about 95-97 or so. Really nice guitar that he was given by his dad. Only problem was he isn't left handed and neither am I, so it wasn't much use to either of us!

Welcome to the board, I'd be interested to see what you will be making in your custom adventure.
