I think language might be causing some confusion in the use of the word "plywood". From what I can see on My RR1T trans finish (I won't be band sawing mine, I'll tell you that much for nothing.) the neck is 3 pieces. The main neck blank, the headstock/scarf joint piece and a 3rd piece joined with the main neck blank at the body. The wings are 2 solid pieces of poplar, and then the flame maple laminate an the top. I wouldn't be surprised if they use a piece of laminate on top for the solid finish models as well, just to keep finish lines from developing at the wing joins.

Hell, even if it was made of balsa wood and doped fabric it would still be my best playing and sounding guitar.

I really hope that guitar was already fucked?

I knew that they used another piece to make the centre up to full body thickness and they've done that for years. Likewise they veneer the top and back to hide the joins. I didn't know they used another part behind the bridge though.

Is it me, or in the second pic, does that serial number look kinda funky?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable

That's just part of the central neck piece but because of the trem cavity it's been separated.

Having said that, these photos made me cringe and i almost shed a tear! WTF?!
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Yep. Going one further, if they were still doing 3 piece centers, the cost of these guitars would be way higher. Their current construction method saves wood, and a fair amount of cost. I have no issue with it, and use similar construction methods. The original poster (imo) is a troll.

                      Yeah. And?

Beyond this thread, most of your posts are plugging your Death Angel with a BC Rich headstock and calling it your own. Yeah, you presumably built it from scratch, but why not showcase your work with an original design? Oh yeah, that's right; it's easier to make copies of existing work so you don't have to think for yourself.

                      Fuck you, man.
