Need some help on a Jackson Stars

Got an Jackson Stars soloist on hand. Seller says its called ASC 02 Limited Edition, from 2007. I cant find anything about this guitar online. Its a trans black 2 hum soloist with binding. Might go for a trade, but have never tried the Stars series. Love the USAseries, and see people have a lot of great things to say about the Stars series as well.

Can anyone help om this model? Anyone know anything about it?

ASC. Is it Archtop?

Could also be ACS, or Antique Cherry Sunburst. Once they went to the 01 and 02 model designation, things got a bit easier to sort out between models. The 01s are the top, the 02s are the "later Pro" models.

Basically 01s get ebony boards and flametops and fretboard binding. 02s get unfigured tops and rosewood boards.
Being a Limited Edition would explain why an SL2TN-02 would have a flametop.

Only thing I can think of is the ASC means Archtop Soloist Custom, or a music store like the GC models.

I don't think that they made any non top of the line guitars as the "Limited" series.

Are the inlays/logo MOP? Is the bridge an OFR? If so, it's a TN01 model, which is a very nice guitar, and the seller has the number wrong.

The picture you posted looks like MOTS and a fake floyd. Not sure, way too much sharpening on that photo.

Ah ok. Like I said, I couldn't be sure... the sharpening on that picture is pretty extreme... just look at the strings and you'll see how much detail has been lost in the image.

It was the first guitar that I bought new in a few years (I had been buying used gear for a while).

It was "too pretty" so I was afraid to take it out of its case and mar it. Therefore, I never played it and didn't "bond" with it.

I sold it to fund a new laptop when my desktop PC motherboard died.
