Yeah it is!
Jeez it looks like Jackson might be starting to delve back into the USA select territory with their import guitars again!I live on the edge of danger facing life and death every single day.....then I leave her at home and go disarm bombs.

Not for $1599 theyre not. Thats a rediculous price for any MIJ guitar. Thats damn near USA pricing right there, and several hundred OVER used USA pricing. No thanks.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

Jackson Elite RR
I recently purchased the Elite RR and would like some info on the battery. Not sure what it does except when you remove the battery it doesn't have any output. Appreciate any insight. By the way, this guitar is nice.......... I can feel the quality....

The price point seems right to me. Less than a USA Select and more than a Pro level. I don't see a problem with this.
Plus, some of those finishes would jack up the price of a comparable USA model quite a bit.
As someone previously mentioned this has some sort of active EQ, I'd be interested to find out what the deal with that is. I was thinking they might have the blackouts preamp and the coil packs, but this doesn't seem logical with the extra pot and what was mentioned about the eq.Last edited by groverj3; 12-30-2011, 10:28 PM.

Anyone have a fix on what those inlays are?? They certainly don't look like Jackson's normal MOTO fair. I almost shit myself when I first saw the KVs because I thought they had no inlays at all (now THAT would be too much to resist) but after actually looking at the photos they really don't look normal. Are they maybe like a dark grey color? Weird looking in any event... Just curious if anyone knows anything more on these models. Tempting!- Adam

I think these would be hotter if they had no inlays, rather than inlays in MOTO cuz I don't like plas†ic on my guitars. But I am tending to like blank ebony boards these days, looks clean and elegant.2003 Jackson SLATQH Custom (cobalt cabo), 2002 Jackson SLATQM (burnt cherry), 2011 Jackson Chris Broderick Soloist (transblack 7), 2007 SL2H (black)

I have a silver sparkle RR. These guitars are super awesome. The ebony looks and feels very high quality, really dark, almost pitch black. The inlays look way nicer than on the photos, very shiny. Overall quality and sound is awesome and it feels like a steal for 1000 euros. Get one asap they seem to move fast and with chushin gakki closing doors this is the end of the line for japanese Jacksons. The 9v block is for a mid boost/sustainer controlled by the third knob. Yup guitar stays mute without the battery.
