Here's a much better example... instead of some mindless copy of technique from someone else's song she's actually a real genuine musician. Give it a test, if you don't want to look at the pretty girl, just close your eyes and see if her playing seems pleasant to your ears instead. Sweet tone, perfect bends, nice phrasing and an excellent vibrato, girl or not.

And Xeno is 100% correct, the only difference between now and "back in the day" is that technology allows us to see many more people from all over the world than ever before. "Back in the day" you wouldn't ever know these people existed since they only ever played in their bedrooms and what-not.

I wasn't the one that threw Hitler into all of this over giving a girl props for being able to rock on a guitar. Like I said before, she can play better than some here, not better than others. But to crucify a person, male or female, because they posted a vid on Youtube of them playing is pretty damn petty. Add to that criticizing anyone who stands up for her simply because they did so, well... that speaks for itself. It's quite apparent I differ in my opinion that most of you so I'm going to let this thread go wherever it will and go back to more important things like learning more about Jackson and Charvel guitars, and ways I can make mine more mine.

My comment wasn't an insult. Yet many would take it that way because people associate living under the power lines with something negative while in reality it's not. It's bullshit pseudo-science pushed by idiots through popular media, never proven by real scientists.
And this is my point.
The discussion I took part was about feminism and how the word is being misused. Now many associate the word feminism with some sort of militant man-hatred and the need for "special" privileges. Extremely important movement is being used for someone's sick agenda and it creates reactionary waves along. All the advanced modern societies have reached the status largely due equal rights. All the dictatorships are extremely phallocentric and the women are repressed. The feminists play one the biggest factors in breaking it down. But when the word is being misused and a good idea is being discredited then it causes serious setbacks.

This isn't about some random guitar video on youtube, I didn't talk about it at all, your understanding of the issue seems to be skin deep. It's not about Hitler or nazi germany, its just an example of someone starting misusing a word for his agenda, not only many of his followers who were proud to say that they were aryans and hated gypsies (who are originally from North India hence they are aryans, belonging to larger Indo-Iranian group) but right now most of the world thinks that aryan is a north/germanic European. There's many, many more examples... most of the western world thinks that Soviet Union was communism yet anyone who lived under that regime would at best laugh at such claims, even the brutal leaders of Kreml wouldn't dare to announce that there is communism, yet some western countries had an agenda and often produced propaganda which was just as stupid as the one made in Soviet Union instead of dealing seriously with the issue and separating ideology from reality.

If you don't see an issue here, then you help the problem along.
