I think I played that orange- yellow Soloist with the maple board. It was on consignment at Paul Unk's shop in NJ. It was F'n sweet! (but a little too expensive at the time).

It may be the same guitar. He is personal friends with Paul and might have had it there for sale. Or he might have bought it from him. There are not many, if any others out there like it.

It's a beautiful guitar, no doubt. And no worries, at least we discovered that before anything went further.

I just happen to only like gloss black guitars and really dislike pearl colors. I just wish it were a common color, then I'd already have one. lol

I don't really care that it's rare. I already have my strathead, so I already have my holy grail. And, it's gloss black. heh
