No, no, no. Weve all read the Ebay auction info. Its a secret project by Grover Jackson to continue making Jacksons after the Fender buy out. Only 50 of each design were made before Fender sent a cease and desist order about it. Its super rare and should fetch $1000s. Seriously though, cool guitar.
I have no idea. Grover Jackson models, Jackson Stars as well as post-model foreign market series Charvels (1991-ish and up) aren't very well documented here, or anywhere, that I'm aware of. I'm also aware that all of these brands had specific models and also a number of limited runs and one-offs.
I've never been able to confirm it, but I'm pretty sure that the Japanese factory also took semi-custom orders for a short while in the 90's.
