  • As of today, I couldn't see any MIJ Jackson in the Jackson's website.

      • Thomann.de is now listing some of the discontinued models again, hopefully Jackson/Fender have found a new factory to produce the pro series in.

Note the ''available since: May 2012'', the guitar is in stock today as well.

        • This is promising!
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

                • I emailed Fender about the future of the Jackson Pro/Mg series a few days ago and I got an answer today.

''The factory in Japan that was producing these guitars for us unexpectedly closed and we had to discontinue the products that were made there until we can find a suitable production facility to produce the guitars that were in that price range while maintaining the quality that those series have been known for.''

Hopefully we'll see some new mid range Jacksons soon! I really don't care if they aren't made in Japan, I just hope the have the same quality.
