  • Jackson pc1 control layout

Hi, I know there are many threads on the dislike of the knob placement on soloists on dinky's, but I was wondering, I want a custom shop soloist, with 2 volume knobs, and a mastertone. I've noticed the PC1 control layout and notice the knob is pushed away from the body. So I'm asking anyone who has played or owns a Jackson PC1, does the knob still get in the way like other dinkys and soloists, or is it out of the way?
Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My playing style is mostly a combination of thrash and melodic death metal, but I play just about everything.

I don't really mind the knob placement on my Dinky. But on my Ibanez RG... Yeesh.

knob placement seems fine to me for my PC1.

that being said, the only knob placement that's ever been a pain for me is the normal placement for volume on a Strat.
