Took a day off and stayed home today because the dude from Sears came to look at the AC unit.

How does that Charvel Acoustic sound?

The Charvel acoustic is decent. I string up pretty heavy on all guitars and that helps to bring out the tone on a cheaper guitar too. It also has brass pins from www.floydroseupgrades.com and that really reduced the treble and added tons more mids and lows.

Nice action for a couch strummer and the cutaway as well as the piezo pickup and EQ is a treat.

Scored it a few years ago on ebay for a little over $150 IIRC.

How close does the PC1 get to those Les Paul tones? Nice guitars bro.

Not that close really.....

Nothing sounds or plays like a Les Paul and the PC1 is in a world of its own as well.

There are far more differences between them than there are similarities really.

The PC1 is IMHO the ultimate super Strat and no other guitar comes close for what I like. The chunky neck, the sustainer etc...

Then again nothing beats a 25 year old Les Paul either...
