    I agree with this 100%.

well, as long as jackson players are content buying black guitars, then innovation and options will live in the custom shop exclusively!!!!
      GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

      and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

It it a shame that they are pigeonholed in that sense, they could do it kind of like the semi customs Ibanez did in the early nineties, you pick your fingerboard, inlays finish and pickups, but unfortunately that would be alot easier with bolt-on only I find it funny that the dinky is priced right up with the neck-thru's when being a bolt- on you would figure it would cost "a bit" less.

          +1
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Yeah, I remember when I was 16 in 1986 and my parents took me into Reliable Music in Charlotte to pick out a new guitar as a birthday present. My eye kept going to a black Rhoads. It was amazing but sadly outside what my ole parents wanted to spend so I left with a Kramer Striker. That was my first introduction to Jackson and now over 25 years later I am finally own a few. Still don't have a Rhoads though.

JMHO, but to me Jackson/Charvel has always been the epitomy of quality. piss on Gibsons and ESP. I started playing at 9 and had always wanted a Jackson. Now, I have 7, and one Charvel. None are USA made, but I gotta say that my JapJacks (my nickname for em) are of a higher quality and miles more playable than my uncle's 96 American Deluxe Strat. Now, I do love a nice Strat, but heres the perspective on that... My 3 Strats are Squiers. With upgrades. they do a fine job for me, however theyre miles behind the USA Fenders. As are most other brand's budget series in the same price range of the Japanese Jacksons. I know my squiers are nowhere near that range, but I got a 1st gen JS1 Dinky as well, and it is an awesome guitar. With minimal upgrades such as a vintage Kahler and passive EMGs. Im in agreement on the USA made. keep em as is.
Let me tell you about a porcupine's balls.... They're small, and they don't give a shit!

It's as though a Terminator was sent from the future, to undo catastrophic spelling and grammar errors. Racer X, who are you really?!

Some say that the British invented the laugh-box, because outside of Marshall Amps we don't know what the f*@k they're doing over there.
