About 10 years ago I purchased a Charvel from a friend. I just recently started playing it again, but I'm having trouble finding information on it (just curious about it). I doubt it's a USA made model (but that doesn't really matter), but here's the info. Serial number 224304, Hum, single, single with active electronics and 3-2 way toggle switches. Kahler pro double-locking trem, black hardware, Jackson style headstock. I believe it's a model 5, but I really don't have a clue. Any information would be appreciated. Also if there are any good guitar information sites out there, I'd love to take a look.

Re: General identification question
Right, has to be a bolt on with that serial number. All neck through Charvels start with the letter C in the serial number. Sounds like a Model 4, yes. I cannot recall any other Charvel bolt on from that serial number range with active electronics except that one. The Predators were different from the description you gave.
