I wish they would call them Limited Run instead of Small Batch. Every time I see Jackson Small Batch, I think I'm going to get a free bottle of nice Bourbon with it.

Pick up a used RR1 for $1000 and call it a day.

Good luck getting one for that price. Not that it couldn't happen, but the RR1 seems to hold its value pretty well.

If they put a reverse headstock on it, 24 frets and got rid of the pickguard id consider it, but just adding binding isnt worth it to me.

+1 24 frets, reversed heady and no PG would be the the tits...

Umm interesting. Are these new MIJ guitars?
Anyway i used to have a RR3 and i can assure you under no circumstances its worth 999.
For that amount of money you should try to get a set neck guitar.

Every RR1 I've ever owned I picked up through GC used site for under $1000... And they were flawless.

I thought the little silver sticker on the back of the headstock meant it was made in India or something.

If I ever find a flawless guitar, i'm never selling it! I've owned a lot of guitars, and I can't say any of them were completely flawless.

Anyway i used to have a RR3 and i can assure you under no circumstances its worth 999.

I currently have a RR3 and wouldn't even pay half of $999 to buy it again. Luckily I paid 1/5 of that. I'm not sure what's so special about that guitar...is it that the bevels are painted black?
