The KV3, which I believe was a bolt-on, had 22. The neck-thru KV4 had 24. The original KV2 (bolt-on Japanese Professional) also had 22, with dot inlays.

The logo should start somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd tuner. On a production model, one can say nearly for certain this has been messed with or faked. On a custom would be a different matter, but at $140, yeah... most likely bogus.
