Silverburst, Kawasabi Green, maybe some color+bevel options (besides black with white/white with black). It looks like they're doing better trans finishes on the imports these days (the PCS Chlorine I had was way too dark), so let's see something besides Trans Black.
I have yet to see the Trans Blue in person (waiting on an Ebay seller who isn't on crack), but i like it in the pics.
my warrior is trans blue, and its a bit boring to me. not as boring and blah as black, but id like to see something new as well. saw an inferno red js30wr on my local cl, and thought it looked good. kawasabi green would be a knockout
Let me tell you about a porcupine's balls.... They're small, and they don't give a shit!

I'm ok with the body and the HS. I'm hoping against hope they are MIK or MIM. And get those fretboards some oil. They look really dry.

Get Warmoth to do CORRECT Jackson necks; ebony boards, rosewood, maple, etc, fins, binding, 24 frets the correct way, etc etc.
^This. I was sad to find that Musikraft, who is a Fender licensed company, couldn't give me a Jackson pointy headstock/sharkies. And I had a perfect neck built too, just needed that one detail for a project guitar. Ugh.

John 5 has his own headstock on his tele, which is derived from an older design that Fender used.

I like the 7. I think it looks sharp. I'd much rather have that headstock than the hockey stick any day as it totally makes sense for straight tension and tuning with fewer issues. When they came out with a rev hockey stick 7 bolt on, (DR7) they were practically giving them away @ 250.00 NEW on blowout pricing at Guitar Center -MIJ yet. They played like junk IMO. I'd be very surprised if these were MIC but they look quality. I think its fair to say Schecter and Ibanez has been taking a fair share of the market the past 10 years.

Fender used to make badged & logo'd licensed aftermarket parts that were made in the USA back in the late 80's - early 90's. I can agree with Newc. It would be great to see Fender offering licensed parts like Warmoth much like they did back then.

Bottom line is how it plays, comfort, balance, tone and looks. Otherwise, Musicman or Brain Moore or the like can get my money just as well.

                      No idea....

My Charvel DX1 was MIC, came with a raw wood neck. Painfully raw... playing it gave me thumb burn. After hitting it with 0000 steel wool, then 1500 grit, then 2000 grit... (admittedly about 15-20 minutes of total sanding) the neck is pretty fucking amazing. The profile feels a lot like the Charvel Model series that came out in 2000-ish. The guitar does have build quality issues... and it feels kinda cheap, but the neck is absolutely wonderful. It plays as well as any USA Select I've ever owned.

I've uploaded a bunch of photos, but I haven't written the review... you can see the pictures and more of my comments on the new MIC Charvels here: http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/132...ack-MIC-review

Oh, my mistake. I figured they would have moved all production there.

It seems like they designed one model with the Floyd Rose, then swapped it with a TOM and didn't change the bridge pickup location.
