Binding slows necks down. Anyway its a waste of crude oil. I don't like that style of Jackson headstock, always looks boutique and poncy to me.

Binding doesn't make a difference. Apparently you haven't played many USA or Jackson customs....

Quite nice design, but some things that i don't like that much:
Again rosewood, no pickup-mounts and the vol.-pot is in the wrong position for me (and i suppose it'll be an MII-guitar).

These look nice.. I prefer the direct mount pups.. the offset dots are a throw back to some of the models in the latter part of the 90s in the "Professional" series.. I'd like to see one close up.. the volume knob looks like it might be more in the location of my Charvel US Pro Mod as opposed to the normal Jackson right up on the bridge pup.. when its too close to the bridge pup and too far forward, it drives me crazy.

Jackson has been doing guitars like that since oh....I don't know the 90s probably earlier. The fact that they put a quily top on a guitar means they're copying Ibanez.......Ibanez made their start building Strat and LP replicas kinda like Charvel did building super strats.

The offset dots isn't a throwback to the 90s models no one wanted. It's a cost-cutting move to pay for the fancy top. It should still have sharkfins, though.

Although i prefer sharkfins too, i think it's nice that they're mixing it up a little bit. I think the offset dots also offset the cheap-looking factor a bit too.

I like the offset dots. I prefer sharkies, but you can get sharkies on just about every guitar Jackson makes, and the offset dots are something a bit different. I've always been fond of them.

I like quilt tops, even if on these it's probably some form of photo-quilt. I like the colour. I like zebra pups. I like black hardware. The only way that these could have been designed to fit me better would be if they had maple fretboards! I could easily see one in my future...
