How much do you want them to cost? I'm assuming these are not made in the USA and are supposed to be affordable models.

And here we go again with the invisible black binding. WTF is the point of binding if you can barely see it? They pulled this crap with the RR24's and Phil Demmel sigs, and makes no sense what so ever.

I'd probably like to see them in the same price range as the old DK2's. Since these are dinky models and features OFR (probably MIK OFR, but still...), real Seymour Duncan pickups (But the old pro line still had those aswell), a quilt maple top/veneer, probably veneer ( The old DK2's came in some veneer options aswell) the only real major ''upgrade'' from the DK2 here is the OFR and if Kramer/Gibson can make a neck-thru guitar with real SD pickups, OFR and ebony fretboard that's made in Korea for 840$ (thomann price) I think Jackson can make a guitar in that price range with a body made of something other than basswood.

I really don't see the point of making ANOTHER guitar with a strat body that's made of basswood, there are like 20 something allready if you count the new 7strings.

I just hope this is a sneak peek of some new midrange guitars!

Yeah, we probably won't hear anything about them for quite a while.

I agree with this. It doesn't look too bad though, just would make more sense if it matched the body.

              I'm liking the maple.

              I like maple fretboards. :P

Whats with the control cavities? What a shame, every different "model" they come out with has different everything... the only things these guitars all have in common is the Jackson logo on the headstock... These arent Jacksons, these are rebadged what-ever-slave-labor-country-built-em Jacksons. That guitar looks cool and all, but its just not a Jackson.

I caught some heat around here because I spoke up a bunch of months ago about the new Chinease Charvel guitars.. This time I say...... WTF go take you cash and flush it down the toilet just like all the people who bought desolation guitars did... Ive bought a whole bunch of guitars for 500$ that are worth twice that now... but no... go ahead watch your resale value plummet on the woodglue-particalboard-quality-axes

Except the MIC Charvels are actually really nice if you put some work into them. I bought a DX1 just to rip it apart and review it. After spending a few hours with some really fine sandpaper and getting the finish as close to a satin feel as I could, it plays well, it sounds good and it feels great. Even though I hate everything it stands for, especially the fact that the Charvel Japan plant was abandoned to bankrupcy by Fender, the MIC Charvel is actually a decent guitar for what I paid. I got it for cheap though. If it were the normal $550-$650 I wouldn't have bought it.

Huh? I don't get it, they're just Dinkys with offset dots and an all-access neck joint... They've got Floyds, Duncans, pointy headstocks and probably compound radius fretboards too so what about them isn't Jackson?

The do not look and feel like the Charvels that people have known and loved for 30 years. The only thing that is the same is the basic headstock profile. The shape isn't even really the same. All the angles are different. The equivalent priced Schecter has nicer build quality but cheaper components.

First off, these are Jacksons, not Charvels. Not that it matters though.
And are you crazy? How does the body shape differ at all from a Fusion or Dinky?
