I owned a Charvel model series first, but that was because "It's basically just like a Jackson, but I can afford it!" My favorite guitar is my "post Fender" RR1T.

True statistic- majority of parents list there first born as favorite.
As for the poll, until my cs Jackson Star arrives for comparison, I'm going with Charvel. My Charvel cs Star is just fucking amazing.

I like Jackson strats, which are basically pointy Charvels with Jackson logos and shitty trems.

Charvel, for a couple of reasons.
As great of a guitar as Jackson is, my Charvels are more versitile. I seldom even play my Jacksons anymore, My PS4 is on Craigslist and my BOF is hanging on the wall at least until I change out that crappy full shred pickup that's in it.
Also, I like the fact that, not every other guitarist out there has a Charvel.

Now, that said, If I had to answer this question 20 years ago, when I was more of a metalhead, the answer would have been a lot different.

jackson, i sold off all my charvels years ago, to buy BCRich's. i would like to find a nice SD charvel but not a priority.

I said Charvel, but he said he didn't believe me... Go figure!

I have a Jackson an have never tried a Charvel. So I guess I'm unfairly biased towards Jackson. But if I ever come across a Charvel I'll most likely pick it up since they're rare enough.

Gawd what a question. I probably play my Soloists the most...but gig the Charvel more. I think my Les Pauls actually see the most action.
