Hi!
Need some information. i bought guitar a Charvel Model4 and it`s serial number is 274102. Is my guitar made in Japan and when it is made.

I might, and probably am, wrong about this... but i think the 6 digit serials were thrown onto Japanese imports despite the fact the neck plate says Ft. Worth Texas. I couldn't tell you the year. Other more knowledgable guys will be postin' on this soon enough.

All Model 4s are imports. The range is from 86 - 88

I actually even posted a link to that very page in the Import Charvel section. (it started off as a Model 4M which was made in 88)

Thanx for everybody.I do have dots, and a kahler trem. S,S,H active pickups licensed Floyd rose etc...Colour is pearly white but now quite ylleow.
