Hey Dinkyjacksonman, I've got a Charvel Journeyman with the 8 ray rising sun graphic. It has some Japanese(?) writing on it. Can I email you a pic and see if you can translate it for me? I'd post it here but have a way of doing that right now.

It was a last name of a person.
