Yep, maple neck with black binding. The black finish was not glossy, but also not flat black like primer either - sort of in-between. Also, I believe the 7 string had a longer scale.

Nice. Hopefully there'll be a version in the red finish with the maple fretboard. That would be like my perfect guitar... after my DK2M of course.
