  • SLS model with sharkies?

Is there a SLS Soloist model with sharkfins? The only harpoon HS with sharkfins I've seen is the DXMGT.

There's a USA SLS in the 2003 catalog with "dual sharkies w/ abalone eye" or whatever you call this inlay set that kinda looks like blocks from a distance:

Those are called Sharkeye inlays, but yes, they're basically double fins with an abalone center.

As for an SLS with fins, there may be some Customs out there.

I've seen some custom shop sls models with them but there was never a production model.

I believe there was a production model like that, exclusively made for Guitar Center, but I think it was a Dinky and not a Soloist.

I recall that there was also an older 25.5" scale SLS model. I can't remember if it had inlays and if so which kind.

The current SLSXMG model has sharkies.

That one had no inlays at all.

I knew about the sharkeye/double sharkfins and the piranha teeth SLSMGs. There was a guitar on CL being listed as a Soloist and I e-mailed asking if it was a SLS neckthrough or a DXMGT bolt on and he sent me a link to some off the wall website that had nothing to do with a Jackson guitar.... I didn't think there was a model like that.. The ad is gone now. Thanks.
