  • RR24M at my country costs a lot....

Hey guys I just called a local musicstore the only one to be a Fender dealer in Greece, so I asked how much would the Jackson RR24m they had at their site cost....they told me that it is no longer available in their company , but they also told me that it would cost something about 1400-1300 euros , which is 1600-1700 $.Fuck me this is a total rip off......how would one of you sell me a white RR24m in good condition?I find it about 700-600$ at ebay sometimes.

Huh? It appears that you phased your first post as a WTB Ad looking for a RR24M for $700 - $600 because you don't want to pay 1400 - 1300 Euros?

Here's the thing. THEY DON'T MAKE THEM ANY MORE. Gone. Cya. You can't get them any more. Japan is shut down.

Here's the deal you're giving it to me for $1499.98
Look I allways have in mind looking out for this guitar.Yesterday morning I've been browsing that store's webpage and because I've allways found it in there I thought "THERE'S HOPE".Then I said why not give a call and see the price of it at my country(cause I know that they allways charge them a lot more than abroad...as proved and the website has no prices on the products). So I did and they told me how much and then I wrote this thread here, because it is a Jackson guitars forum and I wanted to see your opinion about it.Maybe you misunderstood my intentions.I thought that the price even exceeded the one back when it was in stock at the market(I know that this guitar model is discontinued and that the Japan factory is shut down, although didn't bear the latter in mind that much). And because of that exactly- that the guitar isn't available anymore- I know that if I had a chance of getting it, it would be from you guys , so I just asked a question allways hypothetically speaking.I can't buy that guitar because I haven't even got those 600-700 euros you said(how fool could one be to sell me his guitar at this price because I just told him how much I find it at ebay?). Also as someone stated above I'm a teenager and I just have to raise money I get either from job or from everything else in the winter when I have to study......

Its like going in a shop and asking the shopkeeper how much this thing or the other costs....it doesn't mean that you have to buy it.You just want to compare prices.Nor that he will tell you"hey didn't you see the sign, you aren't supposed to ask unless you buy anything".Plus that it doesn't seem to me I made clear the fact that I wanted to buy a guitar. And that's a thread that I put at General Jackson/Charvel talk ,although not knowing that I could only post a thread at Classifields if I was a platinum member....and didn't even try

Now that the japanese plant is closed, are these instruments rising in value or what? I was thinking of tweaking my RR24, should I keep it stock? I don't expect it to ever cost a fortune, but they are kind of rare, aren't they? I get sentimental like that

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but if you are asking the pricing history of these, they were likely around $999US new. They didn't sell very well (economy was in the shitter), and some places blew them out at $495US a few years ago. They currently go on ebay for around $800US, but that may rise as more people want these (high demand) and no one is making them (short supply).

So you are at the mercy of the shop. He has what you want, he knows you can't get it anywhere easily, and so he feels he can charge as much as he can.
