I've loved yellow since I was a kid (my wife hates the color) and would love to find a Kelly that looks like that yellow one, especially with a maple neck with black delrin inlays!

KE3-R had reverse head, KE3 had reverse fins (IIRC - coulda been the XL), but none had maple.

Jackson really needs to expand the bolt-on maple-boarded neck thing, with reverse and SLS heads.

I'd do away with all rosewood boards for about a year and just do maple and ebony boards, all models and all levels.
Imports that got rosewood would get maple and black fins (plastic/delrin/ebanol), and imports that got ebony would retain ebony.

Or if they'd just offer maple-boarded bolt-on necks separately as a factory-direct parts purchase (same import house that makes their guitars) with regular, reverse, and SLS heads in 6 and 7-string, with and without natural heads (black capped with white logo on the others), in 22 and 24 frets, Floyded and non-Floyded, and black binding on head and neck just like the DK2M necks, with KV, Soloist, and San Dimas/DK2M neck profiles.

I'd love to see a bolt-on KV (Floyded) with a maple board and SLS head with a San Dimas profile.

I saw a yellow Kelly with maple board (black standard headstock) on ebay about 8mths ago for $699, can't remember what model
but it said ltd ed, they wouldn't ship to Aust otherwise i'd have it now. It was hot.

They need to make some like that, it would be a smart decision.

As soon as I saw a DK2M, I loved it. What made me love it was the maple fretboard. I have a friend that is an Ibanez freak and said he would completely switch to Jackson if they would put out more maple fretboards. Some of the newer models they are showing have maple fretboards with side dots which is awesome, but I'd love to see a kelly or V with one...
