NGD: KnE Guitars RR/Jackson 88 Neck

Specs: Jackson 88 LTD maple neck, dyed rosewood board. (Don't ask what happened to the rest of the guitar, it's a sad story and not my doing)
KnE Mahogany Body
Schaller locking tuners
BKP Slowhand/Black Dog pickups
Schaller Floyd Rose
PIO Tone Capacitor, Bourns 500k Pots
Schaller Strap locks.

This thing sounds HUGE. Very deep and full, much more in the Gibson territory than the Jackson territory. I really dig the Black Dog. The Slow Hand either needs to be closer to the strings or replaced, as it's just not enough output for what I want here.

Also - Mitch did a GREAT job with this body. The paint was done by him as well. Great communication and a fair price. If I ever wind up with another Jackson neck, I won't hesitate to have him build a body for me!

Looks killer! I love the H/S configuration and reverse headstocks are always a plus.

that thing looks sweet. i just dont get why the bridge and pickups are so close together and theres that big space between the back of the bridge and the V fold. thats the only thing im not too crazy about KNE for. I have a star body by them, and its amazing. Besides though, that thing is sick.

I didn't even notice the scalloped frets from 19 up until now. Was that factory done or did you do it?

That's factory on those LTD 88 necks, but I believe they scalloped them randomly so the scalloping started on different frets. I believe one person had one that started at the 12th, another at the 14th, etc.

I thought most of them just had the last six done, but I've seen some variations as well. Given that these things are 22 years old now, who knows what's been done after the fact.
